Cost per credit hour
Graduate courses cost $850 per credit hour. Because each course is three (3) credits, that is $2,550 per course.

$25,500 for the M.S. in Professional Science (all of the four tracks)
$30,600 for the Sustainable MBA
$10,200 for the Certificate in Sustainability
$12,750 for the Certificate in GIScience

Financial aid for Distance Education-matriculated graduate students is available for enrollment of 3 or more credits per 8-week term. Students may apply for Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov. The maximum annual unsubsidized loan is $20,500 with a fixed interest rate of 6%. There is also an origination fee of 1.069% that is deducted at the time of loan disbursement.
If unsubsidized loan amount is exhausted Federal Graduate PLUS Loan may be available.

Unity College Student Refund Policy
Unity College will provide eligible students who possess a credit balance on their student account with a refund periodically throughout the year. Credits can be the result of overpayment, reduction in charges, or Financial Aid. Refunds are processed within 14 days of the date that the excess funds are received. Every effort is made by Unity College to verify the accuracy of all refunds issued. It is strongly recommended students also verify the accuracy of any refund and immediately report any discrepancies to the Business Office.
Refund Delivery Methods
- Direct Deposit – Students with a checking or savings account may have their refund directly deposited into their account. Direct Deposit is the preferred method as it is more efficient and timely. You may sign up for direct deposit by completing the “Student Account Refund Direct Deposit Agreement Form” and returning it per instructions noted on the form. Please contact the Distance Education Concierge for the form. This request will be used for the initial and any subsequent refunds unless the student revokes it in writing.
- Paper Check – Students who do not have a direct deposit on file will receive a paper check. Paper checks can take at least a week longer to process due to the manual process of producing a paper check. Please note: All refund checks are mailed to the student’s billing address on file. To ensure that any refund check is received in a timely manner the student must notify the College promptly of any address change.
Prior to the first day of class 100%. Students who do not check in, or actively start participation in their online courses during the add-drop period, will be considered withdrawn prior to the first day.
